ABOUT THE ROUNDTABLE

The People’s Roundtable is a non-partisan grouping of civil society organisations and social movements in Trinidad and Tobago.

Established in October 2023, the Roundtable provides a space for civil society and citizens to come together, discuss issues of national importance, exchange ideas and experiences, and build consensus around possible solutions.

Our work is guided by a shared commitment to the public interest, the common good and a better life for all. We believe that meaningful change requires citizens to have a greater voice in the decisions that affect their lives, and that power growing from the grassroots can help bring about that change.

The People’s Roundtable is not a political party. It brings together organisations and individuals from different backgrounds around a common commitment to dialogue, participation, accountability and collective action. The Roundtable has hosted a number of successful Civil Society Summits and other activities to date.
